[Chronological listing of events in the history of the city of Bristol]. [ca. 1750]

Mid-eighteenth century manuscript on the history of the city of Bristol, organized in chronological order by monarch and containing listings of mayors and other officials from 1266 to 1746. The volume was in the possession of antiquary Thomas Dudley Fosbroke in the early 19th century and contains some marginal notes written by him, as well as several inserted pages on St. Mary Redcliffe. Fosbroke also pasted a page of manuscript text by Thomas Chatterton (whose family had worked as the church's sextons for generations) on the history of St. Mary Redcliffe onto the front endpapers.
